Carlos and I went to the Smithsonian Gardens yesterday to take a photo the Muses x Pursuit of Portraits Instagram contests! I ended up submitting the tightly framed portrait in front of the red fluorescent lights. I took all of these with my 50mm 1.4 lens. I was hoping to get some nice bokeh and depth of field so I kept my aperture down the whole time. It was fun to explore the city with my camera in hand. Thank you Carlos for the excuse to capture some of the beautfiul scenery!
