Portrait || Dirtbag Workshop

This Sunday I was finally able to participate in a workshop hosted by Dirtbag Mark. I have been following him on Instagram and admiring his work for several years. At first I was hesitant to throw down so much money for a photography class, but let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. The amount of information I received and skills that I learned alone were worth the cost, not to mention the network of photographers and models that I met. I was so excited about the new editing tips that I learned that I had to get started on the photos even though I had mountains of school reading waiting for me.

I took about 400 photos on Sunday, so I am splitting my work into two posts. This one includes photos of the beautiful Lauren who was our model for the first two hours. We shot three outfits in three locations and I am so blown away by the improvement in my work. I feel like these photos pop out of the screen and the coloring is on point. In fact, considering that my camera's shutter button barely worked throughout the shoot, these photos are fire. Stay tuned for photos of the second model (as soon as I manage to make it through my reading for the week) and for some big news!
