This past Saturday, I took a break from what seems like endless paper writing to take my baby sister and her boyfriend's prom photos. They both look so elegant and it was definitely a change to see them (especially Andrew) all dressed up. We were trying to go for a less traditional awkward-standing-next-to-each-other average-joe photos, so we headed up to Redwood Regional Park. As it is getting closer into summer, the sun was relatively high in the sky around 5pm when we took the photos. Struggling with the harsh light was the only challenge we faced, though, and it was conquerable. I am really satisfied with how the shots turned out, and I hope they are too! Prom is a once (or four times) in a life moment, and I'm so glad that I was able to capture this special time for my sister!
